DIRECT tO GARMENT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure the longevity and vibrancy of your Direct to Garment (DTG) printed apparel, it's important to follow proper care instructions. Here’s how to keep your DTG-printed items looking their best:

Washing Method

  • Turn Inside Out: Always turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the printed design from abrasion and friction.
  • Gentle Cycle: Use a gentle or delicate wash cycle to minimize stress on both the fabric and the print.
  • Mild Detergent: Use a mild, non-abrasive detergent that does not contain bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the print.

Drying Guidelines

  • Air Dry Preferred: For best results, air dry the garment by laying it flat or hanging it up. This helps maintain the integrity of the print and prevents shrinking.
  • Low Heat If Using a Dryer: Choose a low heat setting if you need to use a dryer. High heat can cause the print to crack or fade over time.

Ironing

  • Avoid Direct Ironing on Print: Do not iron directly on the printed area. If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and use a low heat setting. Place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect the design.
  • No Steam: Avoid using steam when ironing, as the moisture combined with heat can affect the adhesive properties of the print.
